Frequently Asked Questions

How long will it take to adjust to CPAP therapy?

Most people adjust within 2-4 weeks. Start by using it during naps, then gradually increase to full nights.

Can I use tap water in my CPAP humidifier?

We recommend distilled water to prevent mineral buildup, but filtered tap water is acceptable in most cases.

What is a normal AHI score?

An AHI below 5 is considered normal. Scores of 5-15 indicate mild apnea, 15-30 moderate, and over 30 severe.

How often should I replace my CPAP supplies?

Masks every 3-6 months, filters monthly, tubing every 3 months, and the water chamber every 6 months.
